Dilution Methods
Dilution methods are techniques used to reduce the concentration of a substance in a solution. This is often achieved by adding a solvent, such as water, to the original solution. Common applications include preparing solutions for laboratory experiments or adjusting the strength of medications.
There are various dilution methods, including serial dilution and simple dilution. In a serial dilution, a series of stepwise dilutions are performed, each reducing the concentration further. In simple dilution, a specific volume of the original solution is mixed with a known volume of solvent to achieve the desired concentration.
