Didyma
Didyma is an ancient Greek site located near the town of Didim in modern-day Turkey. It was famous for its oracle, the Didymaion, which was dedicated to the god Apollo. The site features impressive ruins, including a large temple that was one of the largest in the ancient world.
The temple of Apollo at Didyma was constructed in the 4th century BCE and was known for its grand scale and intricate sculptures. Pilgrims traveled from far and wide to seek guidance from the oracle, making Didyma an important religious center in the ancient Mediterranean.
