Dhaulagiri I
Dhaulagiri I is the seventh highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,167 meters (26,795 feet) above sea level. Located in the Dhaulagiri Range of Nepal, it was first successfully climbed on May 13, 1960, by a Swiss-Austrian expedition. The mountain is known for its challenging climbing conditions and steep faces, making it a popular destination for experienced mountaineers.
The name "Dhaulagiri" translates to "White Mountain" in Sanskrit, reflecting its snow-covered peaks. The mountain is surrounded by the Myagdi District and is part of the larger Himalayan mountain range, which includes many of the world's tallest peaks.
