Devils (Sports)
The term "Devils" in sports often refers to teams that use the name as a mascot or branding. One of the most notable examples is the New Jersey Devils, a professional ice hockey team in the NHL. Founded in 1982, the team has a rich history and has won multiple championships, including three Stanley Cups.
In addition to the New Jersey Devils, other teams in various sports also use the name "Devils." For instance, the University of Wisconsin–Madison has a mascot called the "Badger Devil," and several high school teams across the United States adopt the name for their athletic programs.
