Deuterocanonical books
The term "Deuterocanonical books" refers to a set of texts included in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox versions of the Bible, but not in the Protestant canon. These books, which include Tobit, Judith, and Wisdom, are considered canonical by some Christian traditions, while others regard them as apocryphal.
The Deuterocanonical books were written during the intertestamental period, a time between the Old Testament and New Testament. Their inclusion in certain Bibles reflects differing views on scriptural authority and tradition among various Christian denominations.
