Detective Inspector
A Detective Inspector (DI) is a senior rank in the police force, responsible for leading investigations into serious crimes. They oversee a team of detectives and ensure that cases are thoroughly investigated, evidence is collected, and suspects are identified. DIs often work closely with other law enforcement agencies and may also liaise with the public to gather information.
In addition to managing investigations, a Detective Inspector is involved in strategic planning and resource allocation within their unit. They may also provide guidance and training to junior officers, helping to develop their skills in criminal investigation and evidence handling.
