Desmond Howard
Desmond Howard is a former professional American football player, best known for his time as a wide receiver and return specialist. He played college football at the University of Michigan, where he won the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 1991, recognizing him as the best player in college football that year. Howard was selected fourth overall in the 1992 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.
Throughout his NFL career, Howard played for several teams, including the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland Raiders. He is particularly remembered for his exceptional skills in kick and punt returns, earning him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
