Derde Divisie
The Derde Divisie is the fourth tier of professional football in the Netherlands. It was established in 2016, replacing the former Topklasse as the highest level of amateur football. The league consists of two separate divisions, with teams competing for promotion to the Tweede Divisie.
Teams in the Derde Divisie are primarily semi-professional, and the league features a mix of clubs from various regions. Each season, the top teams earn the opportunity to move up to the Tweede Divisie, while the lower-performing teams may face relegation to lower amateur leagues.
