Deputy Lieutenants
Deputy Lieutenants are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of a region, typically a state or province, to assist in various ceremonial and community duties. They often represent the Lieutenant Governor at public events and help promote local initiatives, fostering community engagement and support.
These individuals are usually respected members of the community, chosen for their contributions and leadership. Deputy Lieutenants may also be involved in supporting local charities and organizations, enhancing the relationship between the government and the public while serving as a bridge between the Lieutenant Governor and citizens.
