Denar
The Denar is a currency used in North Macedonia, officially known as the Macedonian denar. It was introduced in 1992, replacing the Yugoslav dinar at a rate of 1 denar for 100 dinars. The currency is abbreviated as MKD and is subdivided into 100 deni.
The denar features various designs, including notable historical figures and landmarks from North Macedonia. The central bank, National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, is responsible for issuing and regulating the currency, ensuring its stability and integrity in the economy.
