Democratic Left Party
The Democratic Left Party (DLP) is a political party in Turkey that was founded in 2002. It emerged from a split in the Republican People's Party (CHP) and aims to represent leftist and progressive values. The DLP focuses on social justice, democracy, and secularism, advocating for policies that support the working class and marginalized groups.
The party has participated in various elections and has been part of coalitions, although it has faced challenges in gaining significant parliamentary representation. The DLP seeks to promote a more inclusive society and address issues such as economic inequality and human rights within Turkey.
