Delta Capricorni
Delta Capricorni, also known as Deneb Algedi, is a bright star located in the constellation of Capricornus. It is approximately 39 light-years away from Earth and is classified as a G-type giant star. With an apparent magnitude of around 2.8, it is one of the more prominent stars in its constellation.
This star is part of a multiple star system, which includes two additional companions. Delta Capricorni is notable for its position in the sky, marking the tail of the sea-goat in Capricornus. Its name, derived from Arabic, means "the tail of the goat."
