Deinonychus
Deinonychus was a small, carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, around 115 to 108 million years ago. It belonged to the group of theropods, which are known for their bipedal stance and sharp claws. Deinonychus was about 10 to 11 feet long and is famous for its large, curved claw on each foot, which it likely used for hunting.
This dinosaur is often associated with the Velociraptor, as both share similar features and behaviors. Fossils of Deinonychus have been found primarily in North America, providing important insights into the evolution of birds and the behavior of predatory dinosaurs.
