Deepawali
Deepawali, also known as Diwali, is a major Hindu festival celebrated in India and by Indian communities worldwide. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The festival typically lasts five days, with the third day being the most significant, marked by the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity.
During Deepawali, people decorate their homes with diyas (oil lamps) and colorful rangoli designs. Fireworks light up the night sky, and families come together to share sweets and gifts. The festival fosters a sense of community and joy, as people participate in prayers, feasts, and various cultural activities.
