Debaters
Debaters are individuals who engage in structured arguments on various topics, often in a competitive setting. They present and defend their positions while also refuting opposing viewpoints. Debating can take place in schools, universities, or organized competitions, and it helps develop critical thinking, public speaking, and research skills.
In formal debates, participants are usually divided into two teams: the affirmative team, which supports a specific resolution, and the negative team, which opposes it. Each team presents their arguments, supported by evidence, and judges evaluate their performance based on clarity, logic, and persuasiveness.
