David Dacko
David Dacko was a Central African politician who served as the first President of the Central African Republic from 1960 to 1966. He played a significant role in the country's early independence from France and aimed to establish a stable government. Dacko's leadership was marked by efforts to promote national unity and economic development.
In 1966, Dacko was overthrown in a coup led by Jean-Bédel Bokassa, who subsequently became the country's ruler.
