Dapa
Dapa is a medication primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes. It belongs to a class of drugs known as SGLT2 inhibitors, which help lower blood sugar levels by preventing the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys. This allows excess glucose to be excreted in urine, thereby improving overall blood sugar control.
In addition to its primary use for diabetes, Dapa has also shown benefits in reducing the risk of heart failure and kidney disease in patients with diabetes. It is often prescribed alongside lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise, to enhance its effectiveness in managing blood sugar levels.
