Danish territories
The term "Danish territories" refers to the regions and areas under the sovereignty of Denmark. This includes the mainland of Denmark itself, which is made up of the Jutland Peninsula and several islands, such as Zealand and Funen.
In addition to the mainland, Denmark also has territories in the North Atlantic, including Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Greenland is the world's largest island and has a significant degree of self-governance, while the Faroe Islands are an autonomous territory with their own parliament.
