Danish Currency
The official currency of Denmark is the Danish krone, abbreviated as DKK. One krone is divided into 100 øre. The currency symbol for the krone is "kr." The Danish krone is used in Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and it is also accepted in Greenland.
The Danish National Bank is responsible for issuing and regulating the krone. Although Denmark is a member of the European Union, it has chosen not to adopt the Euro as its official currency, maintaining the krone as a stable and trusted form of money in the country.
