Daniel Akaka
Daniel Akaka was an American politician who served as a United States Senator from Hawaii from 1990 to 2013. He was a member of the Democratic Party and was known for his work on issues related to education, veterans, and Native Hawaiian rights. Akaka was the first Native Hawaiian to serve in the U.S. Senate.
