Dalton McGuinty
Dalton McGuinty is a Canadian politician who served as the 24th Premier of Ontario from 2003 to 2013. He is a member of the Ontario Liberal Party and was first elected to the Ontario Legislative Assembly in 1990. During his time in office, McGuinty focused on education reform, healthcare improvements, and environmental initiatives.
Under McGuinty's leadership, the Ontario government introduced the full-day kindergarten program and increased funding for public schools. He also played a significant role in promoting renewable energy sources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. After stepping down as Premier, McGuinty retired from politics in 2013.
