Dall sheep
Dall sheep are a species of wild sheep found in the mountainous regions of northwestern North America, particularly in Alaska and the Yukon. They are known for their striking white coats and impressive curved horns, which can grow up to 36 inches long in males. Dall sheep are well adapted to their rugged habitat, using their agility to navigate steep terrain.
These animals primarily graze on grasses, lichens, and shrubs. They live in small herds, usually consisting of females and their young, while males often roam alone or in bachelor groups. Dall sheep are an important part of the ecosystem and are also a popular target for wildlife enthusiasts and hunters.
