Dall Sheep are a species of wild sheep found in the rugged mountains of Alaska and the Yukon. They are known for their striking white coats, which help them blend into their snowy surroundings. Males, called rams, have impressive curved horns that can weigh up to 30 pounds, while females, or ewes, have smaller, straighter horns.
These animals are well-adapted to their harsh environment, using their strong hooves to navigate steep, rocky terrain. Dall Sheep are social creatures, often seen in groups, and they primarily feed on grasses, shrubs, and lichens. Their agility and keen eyesight help them evade predators like wolves and mountain lions.
