DVB-S
DVB-S, or Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite, is a standard for transmitting digital television signals via satellite. It allows broadcasters to send high-quality audio and video content to viewers across large distances, making it ideal for remote areas where cable or terrestrial signals may not be available.
The DVB-S standard uses modulation techniques to efficiently transmit data, enabling multiple channels to be broadcast simultaneously. This technology has evolved over time, leading to the development of DVB-S2, which offers improved performance and better compression, allowing for even more channels and higher-quality broadcasts.
