DPIs
DPIs, or Dots Per Inch, is a measurement used to indicate the resolution of images, particularly in printing and digital displays. It refers to the number of individual dots that can be placed in a line within the span of one inch. Higher DPI values generally result in sharper and more detailed images, making them ideal for high-quality prints.
In the context of computer screens, DPI can also refer to the sensitivity of a mouse or other input devices. A higher DPI setting means the cursor moves further on the screen with less physical movement of the mouse, allowing for more precise control in tasks like gaming or graphic design.
