DMARC
DMARC stands for Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance. It is an email authentication protocol that helps protect email senders and recipients from spam, phishing, and spoofing. By implementing DMARC, domain owners can specify how their emails should be handled if they fail authentication checks, improving email security.
DMARC works alongside two other protocols: SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail). Together, these protocols verify that an email is genuinely from the sender it claims to be from. This helps ensure that legitimate emails reach their intended recipients while reducing the chances of malicious emails being delivered.
