Curtis Bernhardt
Curtis Bernhardt was a German-American film director born on September 22, 1899, in Berlin, Germany. He is best known for his work in the Hollywood film industry during the 1940s and 1950s, directing a variety of genres, including drama and film noir. His notable films include The Two Mrs. Carrolls and The Locket.
After fleeing Nazi Germany in the 1930s, Bernhardt settled in the United States, where he continued to make significant contributions to cinema.
