Currawong
The Currawong is a medium to large bird native to Australia and New Guinea. It belongs to the family Artamidae and is known for its striking black plumage and yellow eye. Currawongs are often found in forests, woodlands, and urban areas, where they are recognized for their loud, melodious calls.
These birds are omnivorous, feeding on a diet that includes fruits, insects, and small animals. Currawongs are also known for their intelligence and adaptability, often seen foraging in groups. Their behavior and vocalizations make them a notable part of the Australian wildlife experience, alongside other species like the Magpie and Kookaburra.
