Crystal Growth Techniques
Crystal growth techniques are methods used to form solid crystals from a solution, vapor, or melt. Common techniques include slow cooling, where a solution is gradually cooled to allow crystals to form, and evaporation, where solvent is removed to concentrate the solution and promote crystal growth.
Another popular method is sublimation, where a solid transitions directly to a gas and then back to a solid, forming crystals. Bridgman technique and Czochralski process are also widely used for growing large single crystals, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing and materials science.
