Crocodilia
Crocodilia is an order of reptiles that includes crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials. These animals are primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions, inhabiting freshwater and saltwater environments. They are known for their long snouts, powerful jaws, and tough, scaly skin.
Crocodilians are carnivorous and play a vital role in their ecosystems as apex predators. They are excellent swimmers, using their strong tails to propel themselves through the water. Most species are also known for their parental care, with females guarding their nests and young for several months after hatching.
