Crib Bumpers
Crib bumpers are padded fabric pieces that are designed to line the inside of a crib. They are intended to prevent a baby from getting their limbs stuck between the crib slats and to protect the baby from bumping their head against the hard surfaces of the crib.
However, safety experts often advise against using crib bumpers due to potential risks. They can pose a suffocation hazard or increase the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). As a result, many parents opt for safer alternatives, such as breathable mesh liners, to ensure their baby's safety while sleeping.
