Councilors
Councilors are elected officials who serve on a local government council. Their primary role is to represent the interests of their constituents, making decisions on community issues such as budgets, zoning, and public services. Councilors work together to create policies that affect the daily lives of residents in their area.
In many places, councilors are part of a larger governing body, such as a city council or town council. They often hold regular meetings where they discuss community needs and propose solutions. Councilors may also engage with the public to gather feedback and ensure that the voices of their constituents are heard.
