Coubre Lighthouse
The Coubre Lighthouse is located on the western coast of France, near the town of La Tremblade. Built in 1868, it stands at a height of 64 meters, making it one of the tallest lighthouses in the country. The lighthouse is painted in distinctive black and white stripes, which help sailors identify it from a distance.
The Coubre Lighthouse serves as a vital navigation aid for vessels entering the Gironde Estuary. It features a powerful light that can be seen from up to 30 kilometers away. The lighthouse is also a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views of the surrounding coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.
