Coronado National Forest
Coronado National Forest is located in southeastern Arizona, covering over 1.7 million acres. It features diverse ecosystems, ranging from desert landscapes to lush mountain forests. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, mountain lions, and numerous bird species.
Established in 1902, Coronado National Forest is named after the Spanish explorer Francisco Vázquez de Coronado.
