Cornell method
The Cornell method is a note-taking system designed to help students organize and review their notes effectively. It divides a page into three sections: a narrow left column for keywords or questions, a wider right column for detailed notes, and a summary section at the bottom. This structure encourages active engagement with the material.
To use the Cornell method, students first take notes in the right column during lectures or while reading. Afterward, they write keywords or questions in the left column that relate to the notes. Finally, they summarize the main ideas in the bottom section, reinforcing their understanding of the material.
