Cordell Hull Lake
Cordell Hull Lake is a reservoir located in Tennessee, created by the construction of the Cordell Hull Dam on the Cumberland River. The lake spans approximately 3,000 acres and provides various recreational opportunities, including fishing, boating, and camping. It is named after Cordell Hull, a former U.S. Secretary of State and a key figure in the establishment of the United Nations.
The lake is home to diverse wildlife and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Cordell Hull Lake also plays a role in flood control and water management for the region.
