Coptic community
The Coptic community is an ancient Christian group primarily found in Egypt. They are part of the Coptic Orthodox Church, which traces its origins back to the teachings of Saint Mark, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. Copts have their own unique traditions, language, and liturgical practices, distinguishing them from other Christian denominations.
Copts make up a significant minority in Egypt, where they have faced various challenges, including religious discrimination. Despite this, the Coptic community has maintained its cultural heritage and continues to celebrate its religious festivals, such as Coptic Christmas and Coptic Easter, with great devotion.
