Copa Mundial de la FIFA
The Copa Mundial de la FIFA is the premier international soccer tournament, held every four years. Organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), it features national teams from around the world competing for the title of world champion. The first tournament took place in 1930, and it has since grown to become one of the most-watched sporting events globally.
Each tournament lasts about a month and includes a series of qualification matches leading up to the final event. The most recent edition was held in Qatar in 2022, with Argentina winning the championship. The next tournament is scheduled for 2026, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
