Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. It is not affected by Daylight Saving Time and remains constant throughout the year. UTC is based on International Atomic Time (TAI) and is adjusted with leap seconds to account for variations in the Earth's rotation.
UTC serves as the basis for time zones worldwide, with local times expressed as an offset from UTC. For example, Eastern Standard Time (EST) is UTC-5, while Central European Time (CET) is UTC+1. This system helps synchronize activities across different regions.
