Continental Airlines Arena
The Continental Airlines Arena was a multi-purpose indoor arena located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Opened in 1996, it served as the home for the New Jersey Nets basketball team and the New Jersey Devils hockey team. The arena had a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 for concerts and events, making it a popular venue for various entertainment activities.
In 2010, the arena was renamed the Izod Center and continued to host concerts, sports events, and other performances until its closure in 2013. The facility was known for its modern design and was a significant part of the local sports and entertainment landscape during its operational years.
