Constantine X Doukas
Constantine X Doukas was a Byzantine Emperor who ruled from 1059 to 1067. He was a member of the Doukas family and came to power after the death of Emperor Isaac I Komnenos. His reign was marked by internal strife and challenges from external enemies, particularly the Seljuk Turks.
During his rule, Constantine X focused on stabilizing the empire and managing its finances. He attempted to strengthen the military but faced difficulties due to the ongoing conflicts and the decline of Byzantine authority in the region. His reign ended with his death in 1067, after which he was succeeded by his son, Michael VII Doukas.
