Conrad IV
Conrad IV was a German king and the last member of the Hohenstaufen dynasty. Born in 1252, he became king of Germany in 1254 and was also crowned king of Sicily in 1258. His reign was marked by conflicts with the Papal States and rival factions within the Holy Roman Empire.
Despite his royal titles, Conrad IV faced significant challenges, including political instability and opposition from powerful nobles. He died in 1258 at a young age, leaving behind a fragmented empire and a legacy of struggle for the Hohenstaufen lineage, which ultimately ended with his death.
