Congress of Colombia
The Congress of Colombia is the legislative branch of the government of Colombia. It consists of two chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives. Members of both chambers are elected by the public and are responsible for making laws, approving budgets, and overseeing the executive branch.
The Congress meets in Bogotá, the capital city, and plays a crucial role in the country's democratic process. Each chamber has specific functions, such as the Senate focusing on national issues while the House addresses local matters. Together, they work to represent the interests of Colombian citizens.
