Confederación Centroamericana de Fútbol
The Confederación Centroamericana de Fútbol (CONCACAF) is the governing body for soccer in Central America. Founded in 1961, it oversees the organization of national and club competitions in the region, including the Copa Centroamericana and the Liga Concacaf. Its mission is to promote and develop soccer in Central America, ensuring fair play and sportsmanship.
CONCACAF is made up of seven member associations, representing countries like Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala. The confederation works closely with FIFA, the global governing body for soccer, to enhance the sport's growth and popularity in Central America.
