Common Collector
A Common Collector is a type of transistor configuration, often used in electronic circuits. In this setup, the collector terminal of the transistor is connected to a common voltage source, while the input signal is applied to the base. This configuration is known for its ability to provide high input impedance and low output impedance, making it suitable for signal buffering.
In a Common Collector circuit, the output voltage follows the input voltage, minus a small voltage drop. This means it can effectively amplify current while maintaining the same voltage level, which is useful in applications like audio amplifiers and signal processing.
