Commander-in-Chief's Trophy
The Commander-in-Chief's Trophy is a college football trophy awarded annually to the winner of the series of games played between the three service academies: United States Military Academy (Army), United States Naval Academy (Navy), and United States Air Force Academy (Air Force). The trophy was first established in 1972 and is awarded based on the results of the games played among these teams during the regular season.
To win the trophy, a team must have the best record in the round-robin competition among the three academies. If a team beats both of the other teams, it secures the trophy for that year. If there is a tie, the trophy is shared among the teams involved.
