Colts
Colts are young male horses, typically under four years old. They are known for their playful and energetic behavior, often displaying a strong sense of curiosity. Colts are usually weaned from their mothers at around six months and begin to develop their own social skills by interacting with other horses.
As they grow, colts undergo physical and behavioral changes, eventually maturing into stallions if not castrated. Training and handling during this period are crucial for their development. Proper care and socialization help ensure that colts grow into well-adjusted adult horses, whether for riding, racing, or other equestrian activities.
