The Colombian Primera A, also known as Liga BetPlay, is the top professional football league in Colombia. Established in 1948, it features 20 teams competing in a system of promotion and relegation with the Categoría Primera B. The league operates on a two-tournament format each year, known as the Apertura and Finalización.
