Colobus Guereza
The Colobus Guereza, also known as the black-and-white colobus monkey, is a species native to the forests of central and eastern Africa. It is characterized by its striking black fur and long, white facial whiskers, as well as a distinctive white tail. These monkeys are primarily arboreal, spending most of their time in trees, where they feed on leaves, fruits, and flowers.
Colobus Guereza is a social animal, often found in groups that can range from a few individuals to over a dozen. They communicate through a variety of vocalizations and are known for their acrobatic skills, which help them navigate their forest habitat. Their unique digestive system allows them to efficiently process the fibrous leaves they consume.
