Coin Production
Coin production is the process of creating coins for use as currency. It involves several steps, including designing the coin, creating a die, and minting the coins. The design often features important symbols, historical figures, or national emblems, while the die is a metal stamp that shapes the coin during production.
Once the dies are prepared, metal blanks are cut from sheets of metal, usually a combination of copper, nickel, or zinc. These blanks are then struck with the dies under high pressure to imprint the design, resulting in finished coins ready for circulation.
